Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you have the chance to make a significant impact in the Telecom domain, working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to the evolution of OSS and BSS systems
- Telecom Domain Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Telecom domain, focusing on OSS and BSS systems, along with familiarity with associated systems.
- Data Extraction and Transformation: Utilize SQL and PLSQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data workflows.
- Data Profiling and Modelling: Conduct Data Profiling and Data Modelling activities, implementing best practices in Data Governance.
- ETL Tools and Workflow Optimization: Leverage industry-leading ETL tools such as Pentaho to streamline data workflows, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
- Data Visualization: Employ visualization tools like Qlik or similar tools for effective presentation of insights derived from data analysis.
- Cloud Expertise: Demonstrate a sound understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) concepts and BigQuery, contributing to the integration of cloud technologies.
- Database Design: Apply knowledge of Database design principles to enhance data structures, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Problem Solving and Customer Engagement: Approach problem-solving and issue resolution with a pragmatic mindset. Engage effectively with customers, presenting findings and insights.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize hands-on experience in Excel for data analysis and reporting, ensuring clear communication of insights.
- Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, showcasing proven expertise as a Data Analyst and Data Modeller.
