Job Description :
As a Finance Analyst, your role involves working with financial concepts to plan and control finances. You’ll analyze data to understand current and future financial performance, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and conduct economic research. This position requires a mix of financial expertise and analytical skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial data, find key drivers, and offer insights for better decision-making.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance, investigate variances, and suggest corrective actions.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate the financial impact of projects, investments, and operational changes.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Adhoc Analysis & Maintain Financial Systems:
- Respond to ad hoc requests for financial analysis from various departments.
- Perform system maintenance regularly to ensure the integrity of financial systems.
- Import and export files, manage processes for forecasts, annual planning, and other requests.
- Conduct quarter-end close, including accrual entries and variance analytics.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst with 2-3 years of experience.
- Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial statement analysis.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Selection Criteria:
- Strong knowledge of Hyperion, Essbase, Workday, Incorta, and other financial and non-financial databases.
- Analytical skills with expertise in spreadsheet and PowerPoint.
- Ability to produce coherent and succinct management reports.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to adapt to changes.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
