Job Purpose:
This role is integral to the product team at Royal Enfield, focusing on the connected vehicle domain. As a Junior Product Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of Royal Enfield’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information Gathering: Collect information from diverse sources, critically evaluate it, and distinguish user requests from their true needs.
- Strategic Planning: Challenge and drive business units to successfully execute plans, challenging presumptions and ensuring strategic success as a Product Manager.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Interpret business needs of customers and translate them into application and operational requirements using strong analytical and product managerial skills.
- Usability and Performance Analysis: Analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs by collaborating with developers and subject matter experts.
- Liaisoning: Act as a liaison between technology teams, support teams, and business units, ensuring seamless communication and understanding.
- Requirement Flow: Serve as a channel between internal-external customers and the software development team, facilitating the flow of requirements.
- Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate proactively with external and internal customers, analyzing information needs and functional requirements.
- Documentation: Deliver work products throughout the project life cycle, including detailed documentation of use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analysis and Definition: Analyze information from surveys, workshops, task analysis, and business process descriptions. Work closely with project managers to define concepts and use enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering and Business Management or equivalent
Experience:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT), connected vehicles domain, cloud platform, and the automotive industry
- Experience detailing and documenting use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- 6+ years of relevant (Product Manager) industry experience in designing applications, products, and services around IoT
- Experience defining product features, roadmap, and delivery
- Knowledge of Telematics Control Units, GPS, BLE Protocol, and WIFI profiles
- Knowledge of Vehicle simulation (Vector), IoT hub, and Microservice
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
