Description :
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.” The objective of the role is to build and enable the delivery of a high-quality offline payment product in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment. The individual is responsible for conceptualizing, driving solutions, and effectively delivering a competitive product offering to enable Bajaj Finance Ltd’s leading edge across the competition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and define product use cases, customer journeys, business applicability, and translate the requirements into business documents based on respective use cases.
- Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features, and work with the solution team to write detailed product requirement documents, manage future roadmaps, and deliverables.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market trends analysis of Merchant Acquisition & Payments Industry; analyze the market to gain insights on New Age Merchant Acquisition propositions.
- Strong knowledge of POS transaction flows, EMI product journeys, Merchant lending features, merchant rewards, and customer journeys (pre & post onboarding phase) is a must.
- Design and implement product management initiatives for POS-based merchant acquiring; deliver effective engagement with COE (Centre of Excellence) and other relevant stakeholder teams as per business projects & actionable requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams/PMO team to prioritize requirements with the technology team.
- Run use cases, test products proactively and its features to provide feedback early in the cycle, ensuring entire journeys are covered, and that product reporting exists to track KPIs for the product and its success (data-driven product management).
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications: MBA/Bachelor’s degree in commerce, engineering, or a related field.
- Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant product management or new product development experience.
- Prior & relevant experience in the Payments/EDC/POS Industry is a must-have.
- Excellent communication skills along with strong presentation and data analytics skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office.
