Description :

As a Software Development Engineer II – Full Stack at ShipBob, you will play a crucial role in developing production-level software. Working closely with Product Owners and the Engineering Manager, you will become an expert in a specific area of the codebase, provide technical advice, and contribute to decision-making on technical matters.

Responsibilities:

• Develop production-level software in collaboration with the team.
• Become an expert in one area of the codebase and understand the broader system architecture.
• Provide technical advice and influence decisions impacting other teams or the company.
• Research and propose new technologies, scoping work into well-defined milestones.
• Deliver software on-time, focusing on accurate estimates and drama-free launches.
• Own the technical testing and performance plan for projects.
• Proactively identify and solve technical problems, tackling technical debt, and influencing decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
• Participate in the Architectural Review Board, offering feedback on projects outside your core area.
• Understand tradeoffs between technical, analytical, and product needs, providing solutions that consider all aspects.
• Propose strategies for technical problems, communicate standards, and gain buy-in on solutions.

Requirements:
