Description :

The Finance Analyst, reporting directly to the India COE Manager, plays a crucial role in providing accounting and reporting support to the Business Unit. This role involves interfacing with parent company finance teams, managing functional expenses, executing project accounting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Legacy Parent Companies Support and Accounting:
   • Provide comprehensive accounting and financial support to the Business Unit.
   • Retrieve financial information from Schlumberger legacy ERP Systems.
   • Review results and collaborate with Schlumberger local finance controllers, addressing any queries.
   • Prepare month-end upload files for Rockwell GFO to load into HFM.
   • Liaise with Rockwell GFO on accounting requests and address highlighted issues.
2. Project Accounting Support:
   • Offer support for project accounting and controlling, finalizing revenue and cost recognition.
   • Provide analytical support to consolidate data from multiple ERP systems.
   • Assist DASS Controllers as required.
3. Functional Expenses Analytics Support:
   • Act as a finance partner to functional leaders, conducting financial reviews.
   • Analyze actual vs forecast/AOP data, highlighting variances with explanations.
   • Address queries and data requests from functional leaders.
   • Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets.
4. Accounting Support:
   • Assist in preparing reconciliations from multiple ERP systems to One Sensia P&L.
   • Ensure correct data loading in the P&L Dashboard.
   • Provide analytical support to Eastern and Western Hemisphere Controllers and their teams.
   • Prepare quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliations by Business Unit, reviewing with the Global Controller and finance team.
   • Follow up with actions and queries with Rockwell/Schlumberger GFO Organization.
   • Load forecast and AOP data into Rockwell HP Systems.
   • Support Global Controller in adhoc analytics, including developing user-friendly templates for forecasts, AOP, and other general purposes.
