Job Title: Risk Advisory Internal Audit Senior – Forensic Team at KPMG

Responsibilities:

Role & Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Forensic Team, you will handle both detective and preventive aspects of fraud.
• You may lead a team of executives and analysts during engagements.
• Consistently deliver high-quality client services and take ownership of assigned project areas.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress and expected outcomes.
• Maintain a strong understanding of new developments in advisory services and industry knowledge.

The Individual:

• Possess public accounting skills, with the ability to comprehend accounting and financial processes, including internal controls.
• Demonstrate an investigative mindset and maintain a professionally skeptical attitude to identify potential document alterations, concealment, forgery, etc.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Showcase excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including skills in data analytics and knowledge of advanced analytical tools.
• Collaborate effectively within a team.
• Display a basic understanding of IT systems and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Work well under pressure, including managing stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions, which may involve extended working hours and domestic or international travel.
• Possess superior client-handling skills.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountants from an accredited college or university.
• Post-qualification experience of 1-2 years.
• Relevant prior experience in Statutory Audit or Internal Audit is essential. Prior Forensic experience or a professional qualification in fraud examination would be an added advantage.
