Description :
At NielsenIQ, a Revenue Associate administers, reviews, and validates sales contracts to recognize revenue and establishes a billing plan following Global and Regional policies and procedures. Revenue Associate partners with relevant Client Service teams to ensure USGAAP & statutory compliance and support all other revenue and billing processes, including periodic book closing and reconciliations.

Responsibilities
- Administer sales contracts and process orders for the respective country in coordination with Client Service.
- Prepare billing runs and post invoices, cancellations, and credit notes.
- Prepare revenue workings and perform revenue recognition following US-GAAP criteria, maintaining relevant documentation for auditing.
- Prepare and post accruals and provisions.
- Prepare and comment on account reconciliations.
- Provide comments on Unbilled, Deferred, and Blocked Revenue and report to stakeholders.
- Conduct controls on revenue processes to ensure adequate controllership is maintained.
- Identify and recommend process improvements in the finance function.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Consolidation teams on the closing schedule, accounting services, and consolidated accounts, with a specific focus on Revenue-related activities.
- Work with the Group Controller on compliance and governance.
- Partner with Client Service leadership and commercial teams.
- Hands-on experience in Excel.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Excel; advanced knowledge and macro skills preferred.
- Both oral and written fluency in English preferred.
- Experience working in a multinational, multicultural environment.
- Experience working with remote counterparts.
- Experience working in Finance & some legal contract exposure preferred.
