Job Title: Accounting Analyst – RTR

Location : Pune, Maharashtra, IND

Work Type: Hybrid 

Description : 

As a Accounting Analyst you will play a key role in managing end-to-end accounting, with a specific focus on RTR functions. You’ll be responsible for supporting daily operations in EMEA/North America from our Pune office, working closely with the transitions team to ensure seamless processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Expert: Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial processes, particularly RTR, and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. Provide guidance and support across functions to achieve financial objectives.
• Control & Compliance: Implement actions to maintain robust internal controls. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other statutory requirements. Safeguard plant assets in line with corporate policies. Drive process improvements using quality tools.
• Standardization: Regularly review and govern standard processes, ensuring alignment with globally defined SSC processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and team leaders to achieve shared goals and objectives. Proactively manage issues by understanding process interconnections.
• Continuous Improvement: Embrace a practical approach to continuously improve processes.
• Customer Focus: Develop customer-facing KPIs, hold periodic meetings to discuss performance, and proactively address customer expectations and concerns.
• Service Delivery: Ensure that service delivery aligns with agreed processes and procedures, including service definition, service level management, and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Accounting Degree (CA), MBA-Finance, or B.Com. (Accounting) with relevant experience.
• End-to-end process knowledge in GL/FA, and a good understanding of OTC and PTP encompassing overall accounting.
• Proficiency in Oracle & SAP ERP.
• 4-8 years of total experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and direct/indirect tax.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral English communication skills.
• Strong collaborative skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel Macros).
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and external requirements.
