Description :
As a Analyst you will assume responsibility for reconciling cash balances, transactions, and positions, conducting research, and promptly resolving discrepancies. This role also involves preparing reconciliations and proposing operational enhancements to ensure efficient and precise processes for our Insurance Accounting clients.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Execution of daily assigned tasks, such as control reports, cash and position break resolution, monitoring inboxes and dashboards, maintaining client and portfolio data, and handling daily subscription/redemption activity.
- Providing exceptional client service both externally and internally. This involves addressing inquiries, implementing controls, resolving issues, and mitigating risks for clients and internal partners at BlackRock.
- Preparing and/or reviewing reconciliations between BlackRock, Asset Manager, and Custodian Bank. This includes investigating discrepancies and ensuring their timely and accurate resolution.
- Continual maintenance of existing accounts to reflect client or account level changes.
- Collaborating with external service providers, internal team members, and other BlackRock units to resolve identified issues.
- Assisting with special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the service offering.

Skills Required:
- 1-4 years of work experience in cash reconciliation processes.
- Strong prioritization skills to manage multiple requests while keeping sight of overall objectives and deadlines.
- Sound decision-making abilities based on provided information, with the initiative to seek further assistance or clarification when needed.
- Proactive in following up on issues, identifying necessary actions, and taking appropriate steps.
- Capability to multitask, balance numerous priorities, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced and evolving team.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills, capable of thriving in an ambitious, team-oriented environment and quickly adapting to changing business requirements.
- Proficiency in equity, fixed income securities, and derivative products, and proficiency in Microsoft Office with an aptitude for learning new applications.
Preferred:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Economics.
- Understanding of upstream processes that influence reconciliation and the ability to correlate changes’ effects.
- Flexible and open to embracing new challenges, with the capacity to work effectively on multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment while maintaining the highest standards and attention to detail.
