Job Tittle : Trade Support Middle Office Analyst
Job Description Position Overview:
The Trade Support role involves providing middle-office operations support to the firm’s Equity and Fixed Income Trading Desks, Portfolio Managers, and Wealth Advisors, who serve a diverse client base. This role entails close collaboration with the firm’s traders and portfolio managers, as well as coordination with other support and control units within the Operations and Technology departments.
Responsibilities:
- Daily trade processing, intra-day, T1, and post-settle reconciliation of client and firm accounts for cash and position balancing.
- Daily trade comparison and fail management.
- Regulatory reporting, review, and resolution for CATS and TRACE reports.
- Facilitating new business on-boarding with internal and external parties to ensure new products and trade flows are set up timely and accurately for trading.
- Interaction with broker dealers, prime brokers, and custodian banks for trade notification, affirmation, and settlement.
- Resolving trade discrepancies with our brokers, custodian banks, and settlement teams.
- Responding to daily inquiries from traders and portfolio management teams on trades, positions, corporate action events, and cancel-correct processing.
- Serving as a key point of contact for internal clients in Compliance, Risk, Finance, and other functional areas within the firm on all operational-related topics.
- Performing month-end attestation reporting for fails, trade errors, and aged reconciliation items.
- Seeking solutions for system automation via Straight Through Processing (STP), monitoring potential risks, and implementing solutions to mitigate them.
- Static Data Maintenance of broker codes, account information, and assets.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of three to five years of industry experience is required, preferably in buy-side asset management.
- A track record of team leadership or supervision is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of domestic and international Equity and Fixed Income products and settlement practices.
- An understanding of regulatory practices for CATS and TRACE Reporting is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgment when executing solutions.
- A risk-oriented mindset and awareness of controls within current operating environments.
- The ability to identify and escalate potential or actual trade issues or errors that may cause financial, regulatory, or reputational harm.
- A self-starter and team-oriented individual with the ability to initiate ideas and implement solutions to projects with minimal supervision.

Education Qualification: MBA Finance, CA, CFA, Masters’ degree in finance, commerce, economics, or equivalent.
