Job Description:
As an MIS Analyst, your role will be instrumental in collecting reporting and dashboard requirements, translating these needs into technical specifications, and implementing reports and dashboards sourced from various data outlets. You’ll also participate in the transformation of legacy reports into BI solutions or a centralized reporting system, facilitating a smooth transition to the Operations & Support team and delivering user support and training.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in business analysis activities to gather necessary reporting and dashboard requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for the implementation of the required reports and dashboards, accounting for various data sources.
- Collaborate with other specialists to convert legacy reports into BI solutions or a central reporting system.
- Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team, ensuring a seamless handover and knowledge transfer.
- Provide support to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for all users, promptly addressing any issues.
- Offer training and guidance to users in generating ad hoc reports, empowering them to make effective use of reporting capabilities.
- Uphold timelines and accuracy in reports, ensuring punctual delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Partner with the Operations & Support team to resolve user queries or concerns regarding reports and dashboards.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in MIS reporting and analytics to continuously enhance reporting solutions.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend their needs, provide insights, and propose enhancements for data visualization and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular quality checks and the implementation of necessary data governance processes.
- Work in conjunction with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration and maintenance of reporting solutions.
- Document processes, specifications, and user guides to promote effective knowledge sharing and documentation of reporting solutions.
