Job Description :
Apex Group Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Finance Team in the role of a systems accountant. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to maintaining and enhancing the financial and broader ERP platform, including reporting capabilities. The role involves proactive and independent work, as well as collaboration within a team.
Job Specification
- Collaborate with the finance business owner and support activities related to Apex’s strategic ERP systems (Workday, Salesforce, Xactly, and Kyriba).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors of the ERP systems.
- Identify and execute ERP system changes to improve business functionality, straight-through processing, and efficiency.
- Assist the internal Integration team in onboarding new personnel and companies onto the ERP platforms.
- Monitor external systems development roadmaps and recommend upgrade adoption and integration priorities, considering internal training requirements.
- Assist with ERP and related finance systems upgrade projects.
- Conduct upgrade test procedures and coordinate relevant resources.
- Collaborate with IT for ERP customization as needed.
- Process period-end routines, including year-end responsibilities.
- Assist in maintaining system integrity, such as control account/sub-ledger and trial balance.
- Ensure data integrity for management reporting (both source systems and reporting warehouses).
- Support the firm’s accounting and reporting procedures, producing regular and ad hoc data extractions/reports.
- Provide second-line support, troubleshoot, and fix systems-related issues.
- Work with business process owners to coordinate resolutions for user issues.

Skills Required
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or similar) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar relevant roles.
- Strong foundation in ERP platforms, maintenance, and data management/analytics.
- Strong understanding of accounting under IFRS.
- Strong self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Clear organizational skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
- Experience with Workday, Salesforce, PowerBI would be advantageous.
