Job Description :

As an IT Support Specialist, your main responsibility is to provide technical assistance and support to your colleagues who encounter issues with their computers, software, or hardware.

Responsibilities : 

As an IT Support Specialist, your daily tasks involve:

  1. Responding to phone calls and emails from team members seeking assistance.
  2. Logging and keeping records of queries, interpreting problems, and analyzing possible causes of technical issues.
  3. Identifying and resolving computer hardware, software, and telecommunication malfunctions to ensure data and system integrity.
  4. Conducting tests, configuring, installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and software updates.
  5. Assisting in user application testing during program implementation, migration, and system maintenance.
  6. Performing desktop system maintenance and upgrades, including OS patches.
  7. Creating and maintaining documentation for instructional procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
  8. Managing an inventory of computer hardware assets, peripherals, and software licenses.
  9. Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance of computer systems.

Requirements:

To be successful as an IT Support Specialist, you should have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT-related course.
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in IT systems, equipment installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Familiarity with IT requirements in call center and corporate operations.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Technical writing skills are a big plus.
