Position Overview: Senior Platform Support Engineer

As the Platform Support Engineer at ZS, you are a detective, a problem solver, and a vital contributor to our technical support team. Your mission is to swiftly and adeptly resolve complex questions and issues, creating exceptional experiences for our customers. You will collaborate with both our clients and internal ZS employees to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical problems. We’re looking for individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in relevant operating systems and troubleshooting. Experience in a customer care center environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients and client teams with inquiries regarding the functionality and configuration of our SaaS applications.
  • Develop documentation and a Technical Support Knowledge Base to expedite issue resolution.
  • Create processes and procedures to enhance Tier 1 Help Desk issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot software-related problems over the phone and remotely.
  • Escalate issues with reproducible test cases to Operations and Development teams.
  • Identify the likely source of problems, whether within a software application component or the IT infrastructure.
  • Manage end-user issue resolution through both internal and external channels.

Qualifications

  • 3.5 – 6.5 years of experience in developing/supporting Microsoft .NET web-based applications and Windows servers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS, EE, or related discipline with high academic achievement.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting various software problems.
  • Strong analytical skills for quantitative problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with international exposure preferred.
  • Team-oriented with eagerness to contribute.
