Job Title: Process Specialist – DB
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Principal Global Services are seeking a dedicated Process Specialist – DB . If you’re looking for a role where your skills are valued, and you can make a difference, this opportunity might be just what you’re looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review transactions on Pension Application forms within defined Service Level Agreements.
- Utilize available resources, including technical documentation, computer system application features, co-workers, and Subject Matter Experts.
- Analyze internal and external correspondence to determine appropriate actions required.
- Research and address CTT Question/Problem Useform inquiries, adhering to specified turnaround times.
- Provide consistent training to team members in utilizing available resources, procedures, and researching questions.
- Collaborate with trainers, fellow Subject Matter Experts, and other business partners.
- Perform manual defined benefit calculations, including benefit payouts, quotes, annuities, and rollovers.
- Investigate and resolve calculation problems, including balancing and reconciling accounting and recordkeeping entries for plan accounts.
- Interpret plan provisions to determine pension benefits and resolve Plan Sponsor or Participant questions and issues.
- Adhere to compliance, information security, internal and external statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Mathematics and Statistics.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills.
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in back-office operations.
- Preferred experience in the insurance and financial institution sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and mentoring abilities, with a focus on ownership, accountability, multitasking, and effective decision-making.
- Good knowledge of the Finance domain and industry.
