Job Overview :
Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst – Finance Shared Service Centre
Location : Pune, India.
Description :
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting and analysis of specific GL accounts and activities for the Optimas Americas Business Region.
- Report to the Finance Manager in the Americas DC Segment.
- Shift Timing: 2 pm to 10 pm, adjustable based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
- Monitor accruals for various areas including Repairs and Maintenance, Travel and Entertainment, Utilities, Temp Labor, 3PL (Third-party logistics), Shipping/Warehouse Supplies, Other AP accruals, and Prepaid Insurance Amortization.
- Ensure proper identification and journaling of automated bank debits.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation for the accounts listed above.
- Assist in research and account reviews.
- Reconcile cash accounts for all America/Canada Bank Accounts.
- Provide support for various projects as needed by the Hiring Manager.
- Prepare various ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external reporting, as well as audit requests.
- Conduct deep-dive variance analysis for operational expenses.
- Support the establishment of AP coding and the creation of new processes with improvements.
- Aid in building Budget/Forecast for DCs.

Key Skills and Competences:
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy with 5+ years of relevant experience.
