Wolters Kluwer, a global leader in professional information services, is seeking a dynamic individual to join as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst. In this role, you will collaborate with the Financial Manager to identify financial needs, contribute to strategic initiatives, and optimize overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding Volume Impact and Cost Correlations:
- Analyze customer behavior, revenue/volumes, and cost correlations.
- Identify relationships between volume and variable costs, temporary help, and overtime costs.
- Revenue Management:
- Monitor revenue streams across customer segments and product lines.
- Utilize data analysis to forecast revenue trends and optimize pricing strategies.
- Mentoring:
- Coach teams and handle complex finance projects independently.
- Financial System:
- Understand existing financial reporting systems and assist in migration to new applications.
- Cost Per Unit Analysis:
- Conduct Cost per Unit analysis to evaluate operational expenses.
- Planning & Forecasting:
- Create forecast models based on historical trends, vendor invoices, and volumes.
- Analyze actuals tracking to proposed forecasts.
- Business Performance Enhancement:
- Identify business unit opportunities and challenges for enhanced performance.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify new business models, contribute to building business cases, and strategic plans.
- Cultivating Expertise and Upholding Corporate Integrity:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of products, industry trends, and business and financial acumen.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues, maintaining a reputation for competence, integrity, and professionalism.
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or data analytics, or 4 years of experience in a related role.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree/MBA in finance, accounting, economics, or data analysis with 4 years of experience.

Experience, Knowledge, and Tools:
- Finance Decision Support.
- Knowledge of ERP.
- Data Analysis.
- KPI Development, Maintenance, and Reporting.
- Financial analysis, forecasting, and business performance modeling.
- Reporting: cash flow, profit and loss, and ad hoc.
- Expert in MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Knowledge of SQL queries; understanding of SQL Databases and complex Data Structures.
- Hyperion usage and familiarity.
- Advanced Excel formulas; ability to handle large data sets.
- Familiarity with Analytical and statistical techniques (e.g., regression), Sas/R, Python, Time Series, Regression Analysis.
- General understanding of any Visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau etc; Microsoft Access.
Physical Demands:
- Minimum 2 days working from the office (Pune-Kalyani Nagar).
