Description : 

As a Securities/Settlement Specialist you will be part of the Order Room (OR)-Settlements team in Pune and/or Non-Order Room. This team is responsible for handling settlements for UBS Switzerland AG and UBS Deutschland AG. Responsibilities include pre-matching assistance, realignments, settlement monitoring, settlement fails management, fails reporting, and investigating cash and securities.

Your Role:

  • Monitor settlement transactions to ensure timely settlement, including pre-matching and processing cancelations and rebook transactions.
  • Place manual settlement and/or transfer instructions, affirm broker confirmations, and handle broker inquiries.
  • Systematically chase and resolve pending transfers/settlements, differences, and breaks in both cash and securities.
  • Administer our securities settlement static data and standard settlement instructions (SSI) reference table.
  • Manage our offshore unit by monitoring activities and handling inquiries.

Your Expertise:

  • Banking apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in Operations/Back-Office, ideally in securities.
  • Collaborate with various business units such as front office, middle office, and technology to ensure smooth settlement operations.
  • Communicate regularly with business partners to manage expectations.

  • Higher education is advantageous.
