Job Overview :

Job Title: Analyst – Portfolio Accounting

Location: Pune, IND

Job Type: Full-time

Description :

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform essential asset management operational processes, including trade processing, settlements, and securities transfers, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Research and address basic investment account issues, resolving routine problems.
Monitor investor accounts and collaborate with custodians and external managers.
Prepare financial statements and performance reports for investors.
Maintain compliance documentation to ensure adherence to investment restrictions, laws, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations, and tax codes.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

Work Experience:

2-6 years of experience in the Investment Banking or Asset Management industry, with a preference for experience in an offshored operations environment.
Strong knowledge of investment instruments, including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, etc.
Working knowledge of securities processes, such as Corporate Actions, Trade Operations, and Securities Lending.
