As a Junior Billing Coordinator, you will play an integral part in the accounting team’s collaborative effort to ensure accuracy in project setup and billing, contributing to precise reporting. Your Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Set up new projects and oversee the status of existing projects within the accounting system.
  • Communication: Effectively liaise with Project Managers on contract documents, change orders, approvals, and other contract modifications relevant to billing.
  • Billing: Compile, analyze, and process a substantial volume of project bills on a monthly basis, maintaining accuracy and adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Timesheets: Review weekly timesheets, ensuring they are submitted and approved before invoicing.
  • Documentation: Manage project billing folders and the accounting system, ensuring accessibility for Project Managers and the accounting department.
  • Professional Interaction: Maintain professional communication with project managers, clients, and colleagues, offering accurate information, prompt responses, and completion of assignments.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate billing errors and discrepancies, working towards swift resolutions.
  • Support: Assist in special projects as required and provide support to other accounting staff.

Requirements :

  • Experience: 3-5 years of billing experience in a professional services firm.
  • Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
