Job Title: Credit Analyst
Location: Mumbai, India

Description :
As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in determining the creditworthiness of customers and providing credit limits and payment terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements to assess the risk involved in extending credit to clients.
- Provide recommendations to the Credit Committee based on the analysis.
- Manage and monitor the credit portfolio through annual reviews, NEWS-based reviews, and assessment of payment track records and securities.
- Chair local credit committee (LCC) meetings on a weekly basis.
- Collections and Customer Interaction:
- Follow up on customer collections in collaboration with the commercial team, collecting agencies, and legal department.
- Escalate issues when necessary.
- Consult with customers to resolve queries and ensure transactions align with regional and country standards.
- Reporting:
- Prepare reports for Credit & Collections committee meetings.
- Generate monthly Country Performance Reports.
- Provide weekly Local Credit Committee Reports.
- Conduct reviews on Credit Limit Usage and Credit Limit vs Sales.
- Bad Debt Provisions:
- Conduct bad debt provisions on a monthly basis.
