Description :
As a Data Scientist at Nestlé, you will have the opportunity to work with large and complex datasets, use cutting-edge modeling techniques, and work closely with stakeholders to drive commercial strategy.
About You:
You are an expert in applying advanced analytics to solve marketing and sales business problems. You are equally comfortable optimizing marketing spend and working with sales to enhance trade spend. You have a hands-on approach to building models and can effectively guide less experienced team members or manage external agencies when needed. You understand that a great model is only as valuable as the insights it provides, and you excel at deriving actionable insights and telling compelling stories that drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Share your expertise and knowledge to build Nestlé’s internal modeling capability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute a range of advanced analytics initiatives.
- Identify and address business problems and questions through the application of appropriate modeling techniques on available data.
- Champion and provide advisory services on data science capabilities and knowledge within Nestlé.
- Work with extensive, intricate data sets to solve non-standard problems.
Qualification & Experience :
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Math, Statistics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, or Data Science.
- Proven experience in handling large datasets and automating reporting.
- Excellent understanding of marketing mix modeling and price & promotion analytics.
- Experience with dynamic linear models/state space models is highly desirable.
- Ability to network and influence at senior levels, both within and outside the organization.
- Proficiency in interpreting data and conveying business performance in a clear, storytelling manner to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in working in a matrix environment and achieving results through effective influencing and collaboration.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar technologies.
