Job Title: Senior Executive – OTC Cash Application
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Type: Full-Time
Description :
The Senior Executive – OTC role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely cash application, managing reconciliation processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the Accounts Receivable function.
Responsibilities:
- Apply cash to customer accounts based on remittance advice, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Daily reporting of unapplied cash for the team and weekly/monthly reporting for management.
- Conduct daily Bank to GL reconciliation and month-end reconciliation for multiple banks and accounts.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the OTC cycle and Billing exposure.
- Complete reconciliations of unmatched payments to facilitate proper and timely application.
- Generate daily cash forecasts for upper management across multiple banks and accounts.
- Assist collectors in complex customer account reconciliations.
- Execute month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements.
- Ensure a reduction in Unapplied/Unidentified payments.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in a Cash Application Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in commerce.
- Proven ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with targets, demonstrating patience and stress management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to prioritize and flexibility.
- Knowledge of various collections techniques and tools (SAP, Baan, Iscala, Pronto, Master Mind).
- Flexible to work in any shift timing.
