Job Title: Staff Accountant – APAC
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Description :
Integral Ad Science is currently in search of a Staff Accountant to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is part of an accounting team based in India, overseeing all accounting operations in the APAC region.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in the monthly close process, including the submission and review of monthly entries and analytical assessment of results.
- Manage daily financial transactions, encompassing general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Review operating expense accounts and accounts payable (AP) invoices for accuracy and approval.
- Examine balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assist in annual financial statement audits by supplying analysis and supporting documentation.
- Aid in local tax filings by providing reports and supporting documentation.
- Offer support for banking operations and administration.
- Contribute to various ad-hoc projects.
- Help in the establishment of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Be well-versed in Indian compliances, including TDS, GST (e-invoicing), advance tax, and other company law filings.

Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a preference for 1-2 years of audit experience.
- A proven track record of working across APAC countries, including Singapore, Japan, Australia, and India.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to present results and analysis clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software (Workday is preferred).
- A professional with a strong understanding of US and local GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with guidance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and capable of working independently.
Education & Experience:
- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant, BCom, or M.Com with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
