Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – MDS Operations

Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst in MDS (Market Data Services) Operations, you will play a pivotal role in responding to inquiries and fulfilling requests from Franklin Templeton employees, ensuring they receive goods and services from third-party providers, and processing related invoices efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality customer service and support to employees across global locations. This includes addressing inquiries, fulfilling service requests, and promptly processing invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and promptly process customer transactions and account maintenance to contribute to branch efficiency.
• Achieve personal targets and assist in reaching branch targets by effectively upselling and cross-selling to customers.
• Support the branch operations officer in bookkeeping and document maintenance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and bank policies for banking transaction processes.
• Handle cash transactions, transfer transactions, and instrument clearing.
• Receive and process various financial instruments and deposits within authorized limits.
• Process customer service requests and address inquiries regarding account balances, transaction details, statements, and fees/charges.
• Respond to customer queries and grievances within defined timelines and escalate them when necessary.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the market data industry and/or financial services industry.
• Experience with Optimize Spend system or a similar solution.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as SharePoint and SQL knowledge.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to complete projects independently and as part of a team.
• Results-driven with attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently while staying organized.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

• Understanding of business concepts, finance, accounting principles, budgeting, and reconciliation.
• Experience with a Market Data inventory management system (FITS, Market Data Manager) is a plus.
• Knowledge of market data administration is preferred.

Work Shift Timings:

• 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
