Job Overview :

Job Title: Branch Operations Manager

Location : Chinchwad, Maharashtra

Description :

This role is crucial to the smooth functioning of branch and plays a key part in achieving P&L objectives. As the second-in-command to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include managing various operational functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing supervision and guidance to branch staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and supervise branch operations in line with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  2. Adhere to agreed-upon Turnaround Times (TATs) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Ensure successful branch audits with a minimum satisfactory rating at all times.
  4. Efficiently manage workload distribution, authorize transactions with zero errors, and handle exceptions and deferrals in a timely manner.
  5. Ensure timely submission of MIS and reports.
  6. Maintain filing and document management according to branch processes and quality standards.
  7. Initiate process and product improvements, striving for zero errors.
  8. Support branch target achievement through effective upselling and cross-selling to customers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage and control all operational functions of the branch with a focus on accuracy.
  2. Coordinate with centralized operations teams to maintain high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  3. Ensure the timely receipt and submission of regulatory and other reports.
  4. Participate in process improvement exercises within the branch/cluster.
  5. Identify opportunities for productivity enhancement and cost reduction.
  6. Initiate regular team meetings and circulate minutes to stakeholders.
  7. Fulfill other duties and responsibilities assigned by the branch Head.
  8. Support and ensure the achievement of the branch’s P&L objectives.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in General Branch Banking Operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
