Position: ARC Analyst
Location: Pune, India
Experience Level: Intermediate
Description :
As an ARC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business with accounting matters. This includes financial reporting, forecasting, policy and compliance advice, and collaboration with various stakeholders and teams across the organization to contribute effectively to a range of finance activities.
Key Results / Accountabilities:
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of end-to-end processes in general accounting and reporting, fixed assets, accounts receivables, credit, accounts payable, costing, performance reporting, statutory accounting, and direct tax services (including journal postings, GL maintenance, system postings, report preparation, reconciliations, and tax submissions) in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage and coordinate the reconciliation of various systems to ensure balance and investigate and correct any discrepancies or variations.
- Provide relevant advice and information to staff across GBS and its customers as needed.
- Track and resolve outstanding general accounting and reporting issues that have been escalated or further escalate to the necessary parties.
Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Carry out people management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including:
- Planning, assigning, and advising on work for team members.
- Setting goals, clarifying expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting appraisals when required with direct reports.
- Coaching team members to address process gaps, identify inefficiencies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in the organization.
- Providing mentoring, guidance, and feedback to support long-term career development and talent retention.
