Description :
In this role of Supply Chain Executive at Nashik , you will be responsible for Direct Materials Planning for Nashik Plant, ensuring the availability of the right materials at the right time and cost, in the right quantity, while minimizing write-off risks due to poor planning. Your responsibilities will encompass direct purchasing of raw and packaging materials for the Nashik Plant and overseeing the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process, including forecasting, purchase order management, vendor communication, material receipt, invoice processing, and payment release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly/monthly receipt plans for raw and packaging materials.
- Monitor material movement as per the plans to ensure timely availability.
- Create purchase orders based on business forecasts.
- Coordinate with vendors to secure timely material supplies.
- Manage commercial transactions with vendors.
- Track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and management information systems (MIS).
- Review monthly slow-moving, obsolete, and blocked (SLOB) inventory and provisioning.
- Execute cost-saving initiatives through cross-functional teams (CFTs).
- Drive new product development (NPD) launches in collaboration with CFTs.
- Ensure compliance and readiness for audits.
