Job Summary:

As a Cash Application Associate, your role will revolve around the prompt and precise posting of all accounts receivable payments and adjustment transactions.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Accurately post payments and adjustments to applicable accounts receivable accounts following established procedures and remittance details from customers.
• Verify payments, ensuring all required information, including checks, EFT numbers, and amounts paid, is accurately provided.
• Proactively address discrepancies related to payment postings and user errors.
• Review and respond to customer queries promptly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or back-office domains.
• Strong data entry skills, coupled with a numerical aptitude.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent English proficiency with effective communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Efficiently work under pressure, meeting deadlines and time constraints.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable or cash applications (a plus, though not mandatory).
• Must adhere to a pre-determined work schedule.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, Banking, or Arts with BPO experience.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Must be based in Pune.
