The Ops Support Assistant is an entry-level position responsible for providing operational support services. This role involves various responsibilities such as record/documentation maintenance, storage and retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging, and opening accounts in coordination with the Operations – Core Team. Furthermore, the Ops Support Assistant acts as a liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients. The primary objective is to offer day-to-day operations support that aligns with Citi’s operational infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to all staff levels regarding processes and operating procedures, assisting the unit manager.
- Coordinate team efforts to maintain department workflow efficiency, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Assess equipment and staff resource allocation, identifying potential issues impacting workflow.
- Interact with internal departments and external clients to resolve issues and concerns.
- Monitor “In process” work to meet business and quality standards.
- Make decisions within established procedures, balancing employee, company, and customer needs.
- Support a wide range of products and services, serving as the team subject matter expert.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup’s reputation, clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with Learning Management Systems, Human Resource Systems, and Learning and Development.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Quick and seamless adaptation to new technology.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
