Key Responsibilities:

🏢 Back Office and Middle Office Expertise: You will work on essential back office and middle office processes for financial institutions. This includes handling various stages of the client and product life cycle, encompassing KYC, reference data management, legal documents, loans, portfolio reconciliation, document capture, system reconciliation, pre and post settlements, brokerage functions, drafting, trade support, corporate actions, tax operations, and more.

📊 Data Management: You will be responsible for data capture, cataloging, data processing, system inputs and updates, reconciliations, settlements, and fund transfers. Proficiency in MS Excel will be essential for preparing reports.

🤝 Client Interaction: Your role may involve external interactions with agents, counterparties, and clients to resolve queries and discrepancies related to the process. Effective communication, whether through phone or email, will be vital.

🚨 Risk Management: Identifying risks and escalating issues in a timely manner is a critical aspect of this role. You will ensure that outstanding issues are promptly escalated to clients.

🔄 Trade Lifecycle Support: You will participate in various trade support activities across the trade lifecycle. This includes trade confirmation matching, trade pre-settlement support, front office to back-office reconciliation of trade positions, report generation, settlements of cash flows from trading events, and operations related to syndicated loans and corporate actions.

💼 Capital Market Operations: In addition to trade lifecycle support, you will work on other capital market operational tasks, such as reference data support, regulatory reporting, and front-office and back-office reconciliations. Mastery of various financial products, including equity securities, derivatives, interest rate swaps, FX spot, options, futures, credit derivatives swaps, commodities derivatives, and fixed income products, is expected.

Qualifications🎓

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree (B.com, BBA, BBM, BCA) or master’s degree (M.com, MBA, PGDM) is required.
• Experience: You should have 0 to 2 years of experience in investment banking operations, involving projects, people, process management, and client management.
• Financial Knowledge: Basic knowledge of finance, trade life cycles, investment banking, and derivatives is essential.
