Job Description :

As a member of the Payroll Systems team, your role involves delving deep into existing processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and addressing gaps in the current state. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with internal payroll teams, technical partners, HR, benefits, and more to gather requirements, map future state configurations, and drive testing strategies and validations. The role extends to driving continuous improvement post-launch.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Dive deep into existing processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
  2. Partner with internal teams and technical partners to gather requirements and map future state configurations.
  3. Develop testing strategies and validations.
  4. Drive continuous improvement post-launch.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Workday experience, covering business process configuration and setup of Workday HCM and/or Payroll, building EIBs, and developing reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for assisting Payroll Operations team members in root cause analysis and resolution of system errors and process failures.
  • Project leadership and delivery experience.
  • Strong competency in MS Excel and Access.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple geographies.
  • Proven analytical background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • End-to-end implementation experience from requirements gathering to launch in at least one Workday HCM and/or Payroll project for the U.S., Canada, and/or U.K.
  • Workday Pro Path Certification.
  • Advanced data analytics skills.
  • Prior experience in Payroll.
  • Competency with SQL Server, Power BI, and other Macro and Scripting Languages.
  • Strong desire to exceed expectations and excellent interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in milestone-driven projects.
