Job Title: Executive / Sr. Executive – New Business Development (Sales)

Department: B2B Xpress Sales

Role Description:

The job holder is responsible for generating new business from a geographically assigned sales territory across customer segments, by acquiring new customers and retaining existing customers to help XB grow its PTL Business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop new sales revenue independently, identify and elicit new client opportunities.
  • Sales retention & new business development.
  • Collaborate with the team related to pricing decisions, select suppliers along with setting shipment timing.
  • Utilize maximum time to manage customer interactions like prospecting, qualifying, cold calling, and making customer calls as well as deal closure.
  • Focus on selling core products, services, and modes of sales branches.
  • Resolve customer issues and queries on time.
  • Forecast and prepare a business plan and strategy.
  • Recommend modifications to existing customers related to transportation needs.
  • Plan and conduct presentations along with customer meetings.
  • Provide rate quotes to clients for services.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Control outstanding balances and maintain strong follow-up with customers for collections.
