Job Title: Credit Research Analyst – Fixed Income HY

Job Description :

As a Credit Research Analyst, you’ll find yourself in a pivotal role within CRISIL’s dynamic Fixed Income High Yield (HY) team. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the credit research efforts. Here’s an overview of your

key responsibilities:

• Conducting fundamental credit analysis of high yield (HY) and Investment Grade (IG) companies.
• Preparing and updating credit models, including peer analysis, relative value analysis, and calculations of key credit quality determinants.
• Creating thematic presentations and industry decks to highlight sector trends, emerging risks, or potential turnaround candidates.
• Generating trade ideas and identifying bonds, communicating buy/sell/hold investment ideas to clients.
• Involvement in M&A and refinancing deals.
• Regular surveillance of assigned portfolios by proactively tracking company events, quarterly earnings, peer groups, and industry information sources.
• Providing support to clients for ad-hoc research requests.
• Engaging proactively with client teams and suggesting new ideas to enhance client engagement.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of fundamental credit analysis
• Financial modeling and forecasting expertise
• Credit research capabilities

Education/Qualification:

• Background in conducting credit analysis of corporates
• Strong knowledge of fundamental credit analysis, with an ability to identify bonds and recommend buy/sell/hold ideas
• Good understanding of covenant analysis, capital structure analysis, and recovery

Desirable Skills:

• Credit analysis
