Job Description :

As an Order Handler, your responsibilities include ensuring customer order execution aligns with safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities. You will coordinate various processes and support functions to streamline operations.

As an Order Handler at Alfa Laval, you will:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality and execute SOPs through audit dialogues.
  • Drive team and employee performance through your presence.
  • Conduct performance and improvement meetings.
  • Act as a liaison between the factory and segment/OMG.
  • Provide the team with relevant information.
  • Perform audits according to ALPS and manage customer DOT.
  • Daily planning of orders for assembly.
  • Address customer complaints and manage urgencies.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Review customer orders for technical clarification.
  • Create and update project-related Gantt charts.
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for material requirements.
  • Handle order intake and pending order statements.
  • Contribute to the revision of basic parameters in the MOVEX.
  • Create item masters and product structures.
  • Run product structure cost calculations.
  • Prepare monthly production plans based on material availability and capacity.
  • Study GA drawings and prepare bills of material (BOM).
  • Manage basic data parameters.
